  Are JWs trying to make dysfunctional kids and destroy their ability to live normal lives?

  are jws trying to make dysfunctional kids that wont "fit" in normal society so they will "return to jehovah"?

  because there have been many stories about young people who have been out in the world only to find how bad it was and how correct the org was.. a good jw kid with "good" jw parents will have many big issues, some examples:.

  fear of demons (fear, misfit).

  It really all depends on the parents.

  Some are very strict others not so. Despite Morris' tight pants rant there are still young people wearing "snug" pants with their parents tolerating it at least. There are young people going to see whatever movie they wish, partying, drinking, petting etc. That includes young pioneers and servants, by the way.

  There are also young Witnesses taking advantage of community college education and in my area a few going for their Registered Nurse license. So the picture of young people in the Org. is not one that is easily defined.

  It depends on what part of the country we live in, I suppose.

  was talking to an ex-bethelite who is still very well-connected to those in the ivory tower.. he says that there will soon be a(nother) large number of us bethelites who will be "reassigned to the field" as pioneers and special pioneers.. he did not give his source, but he is pretty reliable.

  incidentally, he was "reassigned to the field" in the last big purge about 7 years ago.. i imagine those so reassigned would be pretty teed off.

  let go just before the golden lakeshore palace was completed..

  Historically, with the exception of a highly valuable skill, most who apply for Bethel must be pioneers.

  Of course, the fact that Jesus was baptized and received the holy spirit without first "pioneering" and that he called to himself disciples who were not in the full time service, conveniently escapes the notice of the little kings in charge at Bethel.

  What Christ did and taught is not in their view that relevant if it contradicts their organizational traditions.

  The next thing that should happen is for the older members of the GB to pull a Pope Benedict and "retire" to their lakeside residence leaving "newly anointed" Helpers to take their place. Better yet, announce new light: God has said the end is so near that non-anointed Helpers can now serve on Governing Body. This would guarantee that the flock will eat up the "End is So Near We Can Taste It!" claim.

  Why Is This New Batch of Governing Body Members So Stupid?

  well there are lots of reason for sure, denial, delusion, wishful thinking, ego maniac, infantile understanding of ancient writings, satanophobia, xenophobia, out of touch with reality, limited choices scrapping the bottom of the barrel,and many more.. listen to this ted talk and see if you can pick out something that helps explain why these guys are such ass holes:.

  organizations are often run according to the superchicken model, where the value is placed on star employees who outperform others.

  and yet, this isnt what drives the most high-achieving teams.

  The current GB know they are faking it. They are faking their claim to be of the anointed. The previous members were not all fakers. Many honestly believed they were anointed and called by Christ as members of his body.

  Such an honest belief brings with it an inner recognition of responsibility. But when it is faked no such responsibility exists. The current GB are simply enjoying the ride for the ride itself. Fakers to the core.

  This is why they have spent the hard earned money of so many on a lakeside residence for themselves. They love themselves and believe that God will accept them because they have been selected to lead the Organization. They know lies were told in the past and it appears God did not object. So to them it seems reasonable that God will not object to whatever lies they may tell.

  They bought into the idea that the Organization is everything and have given over their minds to it. They are thoroughly indoctrinated and unable to think beyond their own images and positions of power.

  They are no longer able to reason. They are no longer able to think for themselves.

  And why should "little kings" have to think? Do they not have advisers to think for them? Herd himself admitted that he spends much time, reading and reading what Writing has produced. The dumb cluck did not realize that what he was actually saying is that the GB is sterile and relies on Teaching and Writing to bring stuff in.

  These guys would have fit better into the days when Knorr and Fred Franz were running things and the Board of Directors sat around waiting for them to make stuff happen. Today the GB is like those Board of Directors and the Helpers are the ones sitting in Knorr's and Franz' seats...writing, teaching, running things, making changes. The problem is most of them are incompetent.

  The Watchtower leadership has received from God what they deserve: Confusion.

  Ghana jw.org call for retraction

  we have read with interest the above front-page headline and its articlewhich was published on page 3 of your newspaper the chronicle of june 22, 2015. in the article, the writer, alfred adams of takoradi, reported that rebecca dankwa and her mother, believed to be worshipping at the jehovahs witnesses church, refused to accept blood transfusion on the grounds that their religion forbids blood transfusions, and she died as a result.. as representatives of jehovahs witnesses in ghana, we write to point out the misinformation contained in that report.

  our investigation into the matter has clearly established that the said rebecca dankwa was not one of jehovahs witnesses.

  since this person mentioned in the report was not one of jehovahs witnesses, we are at a loss as to why the name of jehovahs witnesses should be linked to the story.

  If a person declines blood transfusion and also turns down any alternatives available, then the conclusion may well be reached that he is denying himself medical treatment. But this is not the case with Jehovah’s Witnesses. Ours is a choice of medical treatment and not a refusal of medical treatment. Does a patient not have the right to choose the form of treatment administered to him?

  Jehovah's Witnesses in Ghana are not only required by their religion to "abstain" from blood transfusions but according to the paragraph above they MUST also accept "alternatives available" in order to keep the Ghana Branch out of hot water with the government.

  "So they handed Br. Lett a Branch letter and he asked, what representation do you see on it? They answered- the Watchtower.org emblem. He answered, Give to the Watchtower what belongs to the Watchtower and to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. Then they asked, But Br. Lett, what do we have for ourselves? He answered with a wide grin, NOTHING."

  Splane and Morris Should Thank Raymond Franz, Their Organizational Father

  the whole elder body teaching and governing body teaching was based on research by a well known "apostate" raymond franz.

  franz wrote the aid book articles which gave rise to the changes made in the congregations and bethel.

  knorr was deposed by the johnny come lately new governing body members who in turn gave birth to those in charge today.

  Knorr was what he was. Raymond Franz knew he was not one to throw him out for merely disagreeing.

  As for his new boy Bethel talks it is true that many "boys" who went to Bethel needed parenting. If their parents did not do it, Knorr would do it for them. He was not running a nursery.

  In his book, Crisis of Conscience, Raymond Franz wrote that if Knorr had still been alive he doubted he would have been treated as he was.

  Do you have a JW hero?

  when i say jw hero i mean a jw who courageously did what was right despite the indoctrination and peer pressure to conform to cultishness.

  i have an unknown jw hero that i've never met but only heard of from an experience relayed to me about an incident at a jw funeral.. i was told that at a jw funeral internment, a non-jw put a wreath in the shape of a cross on the grave.

  shortly thereafter a jw elder came up and removed the wreath.

  I'm still in and know quite a few brothers who have either bent or broke a rule in order to help someone in the congregation. They are in the minority but are there nonetheless. Speaking casually to a disfellowshipped brother or sister at the KH is a heroic act, imo. Displaying mercy even when the Watchtower is against it is also a heroic act. Saying nothing when a parent is secretly associating with a disfellowshipped son who does not live at home is loving and, in the JW religion, also heroic.
